Harris’ final message of unity

Harris’ final message of unity

WASHINGTON (Gray DC) – With just one day to go until Election Day, Vice President Kamala Harris is spending her last full day on the campaign trail in the battleground state of Pennsylvania.

After just three and a half months of campaigning across the country, Vice President Kamala Harris is ending her presidential campaign in the battleground state of Pennsylvania with a message of unity. Tens of millions of dollars have been spent by the Harris Campaign on commercials and travel – in each of the seven swing states. Those states are Pennsylvania, North Carolina, Georgia, Michigan, Wisconsin, Arizona and Nevada. Now the campaign focuses on the ground game. Jacob Rubashkin of Inside Elections says the goal is to get voters to the polls and cast their ballots.

“And so the job of the campaigns is to make sure that every possible supporter they have actually goes out and casts a vote. And the campaign has spent a lot of money, energy and manpower to make sure that happens, especially now that early voting and absentee voting have increased so dramatically.”

Inside Elections’ Jacob Rubashkin says the Harris campaign is closing with a message of unity while trying to expand their lead with female voters.

“There are more women in this country than men, and women vote slightly more often. So if you had to choose whether you wanted to do really well with women or really do well with men, the numbers would suggest that you would probably want to do better with women.”

A big unknown on election night is how Nikki Haley’s supporters will vote. Haley won a significant percentage of the vote in the Republican primaries. And Harris has been working hard over the past 100 days to reach these voters – hoping to gain their support in what is expected to be a very close election. The Harris Walz campaign is so focused on Pennsylvania, a last-minute voting event set for Tuesday morning in the state capital, Harrisburg.
