One dead, another hospitalized in Dorchester County crash

DORCHESTER COUNTY, S.C. (WCSC) – The South Carolina Highway Patrol is investigating a single-vehicle crash that left one person dead and another sent to the hospital.

According to police, the crash happened Monday around 8:35 p.m

A 2006 Honda sedan was traveling west on Jedburg Road near McQueen Boulevard when it went off the left side of the road and overturned.

The driver of the car died from his injuries.

There were three passengers in the car, one of whom was taken to an area hospital for treatment.

The Dorchester County Coroner has not yet released the victim’s name.
