ICE Houston last month deported 25 illegal aliens convicted of child sex crimes in the US

According to ICE’s Enforcement and Removal Operations Houston Field Office (ERO Houston), more than two dozen illegal immigrants convicted of at least one child molestation offense were deported in October.

Under the 25 child molesters Last month, illegal immigrants with gang ties were deported, multiple deportations and multiple convictions for various crimes.

“The 25 non-residents ERO Houston removed last month entered the country illegally and subsequently preyed on the innocence and vulnerability of our children,” Bret Bradford, director of the ERO Houston Field Office, said in a news release.

While the agency has not released the names of the criminals, they have shared details about ten of the deported people.

Early October, ERO Houston two Salvadoran nationals deported; a 27-year-old convicted of sexually assaulting a child, resisting arrest and providing false information to law enforcement authorities, and a twice-deported 58-year-old convicted of aggravated sexual assault of a child and illegal reentry.

Fourteen days later, on October 16, a 37-year-old twice-deported Mexican national, who is a documented member of the Paisas gang, was removed with prior convictions for committing lewd acts against a child under 14 years of age and illegal reentry . .

Another 37-year-old twice-deported Mexican national convicted of sexual indecency with a child and sexual assault of a child was removed the same day.

On October 17 ERO Houston removed a 50-year-old Mexican national who had been deported three times and convicted of sexual indecency with a child, cocaine trafficking, two DWIs, assault, unlawful carrying of a weapon and illegal reentry.

A 44-year-old documented Colonia Durango gang member from Mexico was deported on October 18 with previous convictions for aggravated sexual assault of a minor, sexual indecency with a child and theft (twice).

On October 22, a 33-year-old twice-deported Ecuadorian citizen was convicted of unlawful surveillance/installing a sexual arousal imaging device in a manner to injure a child under the age of 17 and removed from illegal reentry.

The next day, a 52-year-old twice-deported Salvadoran national was removed with convictions for indecent liberties with a child, DWI, assault on a public official, assault and illegal reentry.

To close out the month, two Guatemalan nationals were removed on October 28; a 20-year-old convicted of sexual indecency with a child under 14 and a twice-deported 30-year-old convicted of incest with a minor under 13 and illegal reentry.

Bradford said his immigration officers “live and raise families in this community” and “take on their mission to personally protect the residents of Southeast Texas from dangerous criminal non-citizens like these.”

“Last month’s results are just one example of their unyielding commitment to identifying and eliminating threats to public safety to protect our communities from harm and restore the integrity of our nation’s immigration system,” said Bradford.

ERO Houston is responsible for immigration enforcement in 52 of the 254 counties in Texas. The office covers activities in a large part of the region southeast Texas, which extends from Shelby and Hill counties to Refugio and Live Oak counties.
