The focus turns to MIAA tournament action throughout Massachusetts

High school teams from across Massachusetts now play for state titles in football, field hockey, girls volleyball and boys and girls soccer. Every game can be an opportunity to progress; every game can be the last chance for athletes to play for their school.

With stakes like this, it’s a good thing that students from across the state are participating in the Globe’s free photojournalism program, sharing their best photos as a way to supplement the Globe’s high school coverage.
