The Corporation Road Bridge footpaths will be closed while work continues

Opened in 1925, the bridge spans the River Freshney and is a main route into Grimsby town centre.

The work was expected to take about a year, but in August the council said it would not be completed until next summer after it emerged the condition was worse than expected.

The southern footpath is closed between 09:00 and 16:00 GMT on the following days:

The weekend work will take place on November 9, 10, 23 and 24, although the footpath would remain open on these dates, the council added.

The council said it is important that people respect the entry restrictions in place, which have been introduced for safety reasons.
