The Houston Texans are preparing to take on a 7-1 Detroit Lions squad. These two will face off this weekend on Sunday Night Football at NRG Stadium.

It’s Tuesday, so the Texans aren’t practicing.

They will be back on the fields at the Houston Methodist Training Center tomorrow in preparation for their Sunday Night Football against the Lions at NRG Stadium.

This will be the third time the two franchises have met in a nationally televised game, as the Texans won the previous two Thanksgiving Day games in Detroit in 2012 and 2020.

Houston welcomed back defensive end Jerry Hughes and cornerback Jeff Okudah to practice yesterday, and both were on injured reserve.
