Tragic stabbing of teacher in Bundi: community in shock |

Kota: A government teacher was allegedly stabbed to death by assailants over a trivial matter at an eatery in Bundi district on Monday. The deceased, identified as Manish Kumar Meenahas been a third grade teacher at a school in Namana village for the past two years. He was supposed to get married in January next year. Police have registered a murder case against unidentified persons and launched an operation to arrest them.
Bhagwan Sahay, circle inspector at Bundi Sadar police station, said the incident took place when Meena was leaving the eatery with his friends. One of the suspects stabbed him. His friend Sourabh was also injured in the attack. After reporting the crime, police shifted Meena to Bundi district hospital where he succumbed to his injuries due to excessive bleeding about an hour later, Sahay said. tnn
