Ariat collaborates with ‘Yellowstone’ on the Westernwear collection

Yellowstone returns on Sunday, and with it we can expect plenty of scene-stealing style in the form of tough job coats and Americana-inspired workwear. The show’s costume design is handled by Johnetta Boone, who collaborated with boot brand Ariat on a line of western-wear essentials—think pearl-button denim shirts, bootcut jeans, and cowboy boots—for the Ariat-Yellowstone collaboration. The collection was announced on November 1 and is available to shop now Ariat and on Amazon.

The looks are not only inspired by Yellowstone — items from the collection will appear next season. The collection includes men’s and women’s clothing, and pieces range from $80 for shirts to $320 for boots.

In a statement announcing the partnership, Boone said: “As a traditional Western brand known and trusted by the Western community, Ariat was the perfect partner for this project. My vision was to create something that was firmly rooted in authentic Western culture, while simultaneously inviting people from outside to embrace the places and stories they were so immersed in while watching. Yellowstone.”

Founded in 1993, Ariat was founded as an equestrian brand that made high-quality shoes for horse riding. The brand’s name is derived from Secretariat, the record-breaking racehorse that established Ariat’s authentic Western bona fides.
