The tasting room opens in Spirit Valley

A new event space, the Tasting Room, has opened in Duluth’s Spirit Valley neighborhood.

Jonathan Reznick of MidCoast Catering and the food truck The Rambler is behind it.

“We opened the Tasting Room with the idea of ​​finally serving people close to home,” he said.

Reznick is looking forward to opening up the menu even further.

“When we do off-site catering, there are a lot of things that we don’t necessarily like to serve because it doesn’t travel well or hold up well,” he said.

The Tasting Room can host groom dinners, birthday parties, corporate events and more. It will also allow him to retain more seasonal staff throughout the year.
