Weather warning issued for showers and gusty winds in Allegan and Van Buren counties Tuesday evening

At 7:50 PM EST Tuesday, a weather warning was issued by the National Weather Service for showers and gusty winds until 8:45 PM EST for Allegan and Van Buren counties.

Residents may experience wind gusts of up to 40 km/h.

“At 7:50 p.m., Doppler radar tracked rain showers along a line extending from 5 miles west of Holland State Park to 10 miles northwest of St. Joseph. The movement was in the northeast at a speed of 40 miles per hour the weather service said. “Gusty winds can knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects.”
