“I’ve never drunk alcohol in my life”

Kartik Aaryan, basking in the success of Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3recently revealed that he has never touched alcohol until now. In a conversation with Mashable India, Kartik revealed that he has never consumed alcohol in his life. “I don’t drink; I’ve never drank in my life. Luckily I don’t have any interests like that,” he said. Kartik Aaryan has reprized his role for the third part of the film. The film, which opened to mixed reviews, is having a dream run at the box office.

During the promotions of Chandu Champion, Kartik Aaryan opened up about his obsession with cars in an exclusive chat with NDTV’s Abira Dhar. Kartik admitted in the interview that he has a ‘thing’ for buying luxury cars. However, he also acknowledged that buying cars is “not a great investment.” When asked if his parents are involved in maintaining his finances, Kartik told NDTV, “My parents are very involved in maintaining my finances. They are afraid if one film doesn’t work, what will happen? Everything is temporary in this industry.”

After minting 18 crore rupees on the first Monday of release, Kartiks Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3 managed to earn 13 crore rupees on Tuesday. The film’s gross receipts now stand at Rs 137 crore per Sacnilk. The film had 16.66 bookings in the morning shows, 30.97% bookings in the afternoon shows, 36.38% occupancy in the evening shows and 41.89% in the night shows, according to Sacnilk.

In his review for NDTV, film critic Saibal Chatterjee wrote: “It’s clear that Kartik Aaryan has mastered the strange and disorienting house of mirrors Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3. His star turn is a repeat act that promises a box-office outcome that could be on par with what Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2.”
