KUWAIT CITY, November 6: Kuwait International Bank (KIB) announces the winners of the monthly and weekly draw held under the 2024 campaign of Al Dirwaza account, which stands out for having the highest number of winners during all year round. The monthly and weekly draw, based on customer deposits in October, was recently held in the presence of representatives of the Ministry of Trade and Industry, as well as representatives of the Bank. Khawla Mohammed Abdullah Almesphere and Manal Yaseen Ibrahim Abdullah were declared the lucky winners of the monthly draw, with each customer taking home a prize of KD 5,000. It should be noted that the AlDirwaza account is a savings account for individual customers, based on the Wakala investment principle, launched by KIB as one of its retail banking products. The account is currently the best of its kind in the industry, with expected annual profits of up to 2% paid out monthly, with the customer receiving an expected profit of 2% for the first three months from the account opening date. to an expected rate of 1%. The expected profit is automatically deposited into the customer’s account within the first day of the beginning of each month.

Al Dirwaza account holders are eligible to participate in the weekly, monthly and annual draws, provided they maintain at least KD 100 in their account. For the weekly and monthly draws, each KD 1 that has completed a full monthly cycle in the account counts towards one chance, and the odds are calculated based on the lowest monthly balance prior to the draw. As for the mega draw, the odds are calculated for each KD 1 completing a two-month cycle on the account – based on the lowest two monthly balances prior to the draw.

Al Dirwaza’s account also complies with the provisions of Islamic Sharia law and has been approved by the KIB Sharia Supervisory Board. In addition, the account offers a wide range of benefits, including the ease of opening the account, which does not require a salary transfer, and the ability for the customer to open the account remotely without visiting a branch via KIB Online on the website from the Bank of KIB Mobile. application on smartphones.

In addition, the Al Dirwaza account automatically offers customers the immediate issuance of an ATM card, with a daily ATM withdrawal limit of KD 2,000, as well as the ability to issue credit cards against the cash collateral in the account. To open the account and participate in the draws, a minimum of KD 100 is required. This can only be withdrawn upon account closure.
