One dead in Andover crash on I-495 late Tuesday night

One person was killed in a crash on Interstate 495 in Andover late Tuesday night.

The fatal accident happened around 11:30 PM on November 5 on the northbound side of the highway. Officers found the scene near mile marker 98.1, the Andover Police said.

The incident involved one vehicle that crashed into the guardrail, the department said.

According to police, a person was trapped in the car after the accident, who later died.
