A candlelight vigil to honor the families of those struggling with addiction or mental illness

BECKLEY, W.Va. (WVVA) – After more than a decade, an event is returning to Beckley to spread a message of hope to those struggling with addiction or mental illness.

The “One Flame Can Light the Way” candlelight vigil was last held in 2012 and will be held this Saturday at Jim Word Park in Beckley, hosted by Bright Life Mental Health and Recovery Services, to honor the families of those who affected by addiction and recovery. . They invite everyone to participate, both those who know someone who is struggling and those who just want to show their support.

Here they will have singing, speakers who are on their own journey of recovery, and the candlelight vigil itself, with the candles provided. You are also encouraged to bring posters honoring loved ones.
