(International) Biden calls to celebrate Trump elections... a proposal for a meeting at the White House

US President Joe Biden called former President Donald Trump to congratulate him on his victory in the presidential election and to hold a meeting at the White House in the near future.

President Biden pledged to former President Trump to work together for a smooth transition of power and emphasized the importance of national unity, the White House said.

President Biden also called Vice President Harris and encouraged her to run a historic campaign.

President Biden will soon speak to the nation about the outcome of the election and the transition of power.
