Bengaluru: Woman accuses 10-year-old of sexual abuse after he groped her in public, incident caught on camera

Bengaluru: A social media influencer has shared a harrowing incident where she was sexually assaulted by a 10-year-old boy while returning to her home from work in Bengaluru. The video is making the rounds on the internet and causing numerous reactions on social media.

The woman also talked about how most of the bystanders chose to empathize with the boy and asked her to spare him because he was a “child and must have done that unintentionally.”

“People didn’t believe me until I showed them the video. The incident was recorded and that’s why people supported me. Imagine how many similar incidents must have happened to people and gone unreported,” the girl, named Neha Biswal, said in the video, which Karnataka Portfolio also shared on X.

The video starts with the social media influencer sharing her experiences. According to the post, the girl was walking down the street when a boy on a bicycle approached her and greeted her with “hello.” Seconds after teasing her, the boy approached her and touched her inappropriately before fleeing.

The woman also shared the video, which gave a glimpse of the incident where the woman was inappropriately touched by a person. However, the camera failed to capture the person’s face.

The incident was reported to the police, where they identified the boy. Further investigation into the matter is underway, Hindustan Times reported.
