Trae Young had some savage trash talk for New York fans after beating the Knicks

Trae Young on the microphone

Trae Young remains New York City’s biggest opponent.

Atlanta Hawks star Young helped his team to a big home win over the Knicks on Wednesday. He finished with a 23-6-10 line and also got some help from teammates Zaccharie Risacher (33 points) and Jalen Johnson (23 points and 15 rebounds) as the Hawks won 121-116.

During his postgame interview after the final buzzer, Young took time to address the Knicks fans who traveled to State Farm Arena in Atlanta for the game.

“I hope these New York fans find their way out very, very quickly,” Young said. “Boo! Take you all home!”

Here’s the funny video (but beware of the language).

Young clearly has a lot of history with Knicks fans. The Hawks and the Knicks met for a memorable first-round playoff series in 2021, and Young did a lot of things to clown the Knicks faithful while the Hawks won the series in five games. Young later returned to Madison Square Garden for a WWE cameo and received an equally harsh reception. There have been since then There have also been numerous other incidents between Young and Knicks fans.

The three-time All-Star Young remains one of the NBA’s great trolls, and he was more than happy to hand the L to the Knicks fans who traveled all the way to Atlanta on Wednesday in hopes (in vain) of revenge.
