Halle Bailey Quits Social Media Amid Backlash After Calling Out DDG For Bringing A Baby On Kai Cenat Stream

Halle Bailey has deactivated her social media accounts after receiving criticism for publicly slamming her ex-partner DDG for showing their son Halo to “millions of people” on Kai Cenat’s livestream.

The former couple split last month, less than a year after welcoming their son. On Wednesday (November 6) The Little Mermaid actor jumped on X (Twitter) to express her frustration that the rapper and content creator livestreamed with their baby without her consent.

Bailey also suggested that the situation aggravated her “severe postpartum” and could cause her to succumb.

“As a woman going through severe postpartum, there are boundaries I want respected,” she tweeted. “No one knows what someone is going through until they snap.”

However, her comments sparked debate on social media, and Bailey was trending No. 2 in the country within hours of posting.

“Girl, why are you telling us?” wrote one person. “And then when people express their opinions, you and ddg are going to tell us to mind our business, right? Call your baby’s daddy and take that s### with you. Trump is president now, we have other things to talk about.”

Many others pointed out that Halle Bailey knew DDG was a streamer before having children with him. “no shade sista,” another fan added, “but what did you think would happen if you reproduced with a youtuber?”

Meanwhile, others spoke out in her defense.

“When Kanye said he didn’t want his kids online, black Twitter came after him with pitchforks to burn Kim,” another person said. “Halle Bailey says the exact same thing and now she’s the devil? Why do you hate women so much?’

“For the idiots telling her to “text him”, don’t you think she already did that and he doesn’t know… INTENTIONALLY NOT RESPONDING which is even more annoying to deal with??” asked a fourth user. “Halle has always been more private than DDG, so let’s use our brains for five seconds and figure out why she isn’t now.”

Hours after posting, the singer resign social media, with her Instagram and X (Twitter) accounts deactivated following the response.
