Prosecutors investigating suspicions about the foreign trip of former President Moon Jae In’s wife, Kim Jung-sook, have concluded that the “Korean jacket” submitted by Chanel headquarters, and the jacket worn by Kim during her trip wore, are the same product.

The Seoul Central District Prosecutors’ Office recently came to this conclusion by analyzing data, such as Korean jackets and videos of Kim wearing them, that were voluntarily submitted by Chanel’s headquarters in France.

However, we will continue to uncover the facts about the timing of Kim’s return of the Chanel jacket and the process of the jacket donation after the trip.

Previously, a ruling party councilor filed a complaint with the prosecutor in January, alleging that Kim had failed to return the Korean language after borrowing a patterned Chanel jacket during her 2018 trip to France.

Since then, the prosecution has investigated officials such as Kim Il-hwan, the director of the National Hangeul Museum, and Kim, a Chanel designer, who announced his intention to donate Chanel jackets to the Korean government.
