Tractor-trailer crash on I-95 causes major traffic jams in Richmond

RICHMOND, Va. – A tractor-trailer hauling industrial-sized rolls of paper crashed on Interstate 95 South in Richmond.

The crash and cleanup efforts have closed the southbound lanes near Broad Street at mile marker 75.3.

That’s near the intersection of I-95 and I-64.

Traffic passes on the right shoulder and is again more than a mile away.

The affected area extends from Belvidere Street to the Bryan Park interchange.
