School bus involved in accident with car in Hoogland district

SHREVEPORT, La. (KSLA) – A car allegedly ran a red light on Gilbert Street and was hit by a school bus.

On November 7, around 7 a.m., a school bus was involved in a crash on the 300 block of Olive Street. Witnesses say the bus was traveling east on Olive Street and had a green light when a car traveling on Gilbert ran a red light and collided with it.

There were a few children on the bus, but everything reportedly seemed fine.

The driver of the car was taken to hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
