A new recovery center opens in Baton Rouge

BATON ROUGE, La. (WAFB) – A new substance abuse treatment center plans to open its doors in the Baton Rouge area.

Avenues Recovery Center opens its newest residential addiction treatment center. It is located at 2414 Bunker Hill Drive.

There will be a ribbon cutting ceremony and grand opening event on Thursday, November 7 from 1:30 p.m

Organizers said several state and community leaders and recovery activists are expected to attend.

According to officials, the 146-bed rehabilitation center is designed to provide comprehensive and individualized care for people struggling with substance use disorders, providing a supportive and structured environment that promotes sustainable recovery.
