LUMBER RIVER STATE PARK, NORTH CAROLINA: Mica Millers Pastor husband John-Paul Miller was arrested on assault charges for his alleged confrontation with a protester.

According to WBTWThe controversial pastor was charged with assault and battery for his fight with a “Justice for Mica” protester just outside his church in Myrtle Beach on Wednesday, November 6.



John-Paul Miller was released on bail after being charged with assault

Johannes-Paul Molenaar reportedly spent the night in jail and was granted $776 bond during a morning hearing on Thursday, November 7. He was scheduled to appear in court on December 10, the reported New York Post.

The pastor has been the target of several protests after her estranged singer wife Mica Miller died by suicide in April.

The confrontation between John-Paul and the protester took place a day after his church, Solid Rock, was emptied and its official website and phone number shut down, the news outlet said.

In addition, the FBI had served a search warrant on John-Paul’s home in South Carolina.
