Armed robbery investigation leads to drug arrest

BATON ROUGE, La. (WAFB) – Baton Rouge police have arrested a man on multiple drug charges.

Steven McGee, 34, was booked into the East Baton Rouge Parish jail and charged with:

Manufacturing, Distribution with Intent to Distribute Schedule I
Manufacturing, Distribution with Intent to Distribute Schedule II
Illegal carrying of firearms with CDS

According to arrest reports, officers were investigating an armed robbery that led to McGee’s arrest on Tuesday, November 5. During the interaction, police seized the following drugs and a gun:

383 grams of marijuana
240 fentanyl pills
pistol

Police also say McGee is a convicted felon.
