National Weather Service confirms 3 tornadoes as a result of Monday’s storms

SPRINGFIELD, Mo. (KY3) – The National Weather Service confirmed three more tornadoes from Monday’s storms in the Ozarks.

One tornado struck an area near Wasola in Ozark County. The EF-0 storm hit around 6:30 p.m. Winds blew at speeds of 75 miles per hour and stretched the length of a football field.

The second tornado struck an area near Vanzant in Douglas County. The EF-0 storm hit around 6:45 p.m. It reached winds of 75 miles per hour and lasted only the length of a football field.

The third tornado struck an area south of Mountain Grove in Wright County. The EF-0 storm hit around 7 p.m. It reached winds of 75 miles per hour and lasted only the length of a football field.
