Gun-wielding York man charged after alleged threats led to hours-long standoff: PSP

A York man has been arrested after an altercation involving a gun led to an hours-long standoff with police, officials said.

Pennsylvania State Police were dispatched to the scene of a domestic dispute on the 10 block of Eisenhart Mill Road around 8:20 a.m.

Authorities on the scene spoke with the victim, who stated that during an altercation with Brian Price, 43, he allegedly pulled a gun and threatened her. Police documents show that the victim then fled the home.

State Troopers then set up a perimeter around the area and tried to get Price to leave the house for several hours. Price was subsequently arrested without incident by Pennsylvania State Police.

Investigators discovered that Price was not allowed to possess a gun due to a previous felony conviction. He is charged with weapons possession, terroristic threats and simple assault.

Price is awaiting a preliminary hearing scheduled for Nov. 22.
