All lanes of I-64 in Huntington were closed after a semi crash

HUNTINGTON, W.Va. (WSAZ) – Interstate 64 is shut down this morning after a crash involving a semi-truck near the 9-mile marker in Huntington.

The truck is in the westbound lanes, past the 5th Street exit, but both the westbound and eastbound sides are closed at this time.

Crews are on site to extinguish the fire.

Cabell County Dispatch is advising all drivers to avoid the area.

This is the third accident in two days during the closure of I-64.
