Police in Duluth, Minnesota are conducting an active investigation after discovering the deaths of five people in two separate homes West Duluth on Thursday at approximately 2:10 p.m

A news release shows Duluth police responded to a welfare check call in the 6000 block of Tacony Street, where they found a 47-year-old woman and a dead juvenile inside.

After investigating, they were able to identify a suspect who was located at a home in the 4400 block of West 6th Street.

Police officers managed to gain access to the home where they found a 45-year-old woman and a minor deceased. visible gunshot wounds next to the suspect is a 46-year-old man. Police say the suspect also died from a self-inflicted gunshot wound.
