Reopening of the Disaster Recovery Center

LIVE OAK, Fla. (WCJB) -FEMA officials are reopening disaster recovery centers that were temporarily closed for Election Day.

The centers, located in Dixie and Suwannee counties, are now open every day of the week from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. In addition, a D-SNAP location will open in Suwannee County at the Suwannee Valley Electric Cooperative building in Live Oak.

This site will be operational from tomorrow and will remain open until Sunday to help residents apply for food assistance. Officials also said a location in Columbia County will be announced soon.
