A devastating news story has sent shockwaves through the television industry. Actor Nitin Chauhan, known for his participation in MTV Splitsvilla and role in Crime Patrol, died at age 35. He is said to have died by suicide in his apartment in Mumbai. Scroll below for all the details!

His co-star, Sudeep Sahir, confirmed the disturbing news and paid his tribute on social media. “Rest in peace, friend,” he wrote in his stories. Another co-star of Tera Yaar Hoon Main, Vibhuti Thakur, hinted that the actor had taken a drastic step while struggling with personal issues.

Vibhuti Thakur shared a black and white photo with Nitin Chauhan on her Instagram stories. The text read: “Rest in peace my love… really shocked and sad… wish you had the strength to face all the problems… wish you were mentally strong like your body.”

Another friend, Kuldeep, confirmed the heartbreaking news to TOI. He said, “We came to know about it this morning when his father and sister called us to reveal that Nitin had died and they said the cause of death was suicide. We are equally shocked as he would come to Delhi next month and we had plans to go to Khatu Shyam ji’s temple together.

Nitin Chauhan rose to fame with his role in Dadagiri 2 in 2009. He was part of season 5 of Splitsvilla. Zindagi Dot Com, Crime Patrol and Tera Yaar Hoon Main are some of the other well-known shows in his career.

The 35-year-old actor, who hails from Uttar Pradesh, is survived by his father and sister. The family has not yet made an official announcement.

Fans are heartbroken and begin commenting on his social media profiles, hoping the news isn’t true.
