Tyler man sentenced to 50 years in prison for persistent sexual abuse of two children

TYLER, Texas (KLTV) – A Tyler man was sentenced Wednesday to 50 years in prison without parole after being found guilty of continuous sexual assault of a child.

According to the Smith County District Attorneys Office, Jorge Perez Sadierna, 37, of Tyler, remained “emotionless” as a jury sentenced him to 50 years in prison without the possibility of parole for the various counts of sexual abuse during several years of his two-year sentence. victims, both under the age of 14.

Experts from the Children’s Advocacy Center in Tyler were invited to testify and educate the jury about the different signs of child sexual abuse and the barriers that prevent victims from coming forward immediately after they have been abused.

The case was investigated by the Tyler Police Department and presided over by Judge Reeve Jackson.
