Meghan Markle pays tribute to Prince Archie as she ends their professional divorce

Meghan Markle paid a heartwarming tribute to her eldest son, Prince Archie, as she rejoined her husband, Prince Harry, for their first appearance together since their tour of Colombia in August.

The Duke and Duchess of Sussex appeared in a video message at the first Global Ministerial Conference on Violence against Children in Colombia, where they discussed the importance of tackling online violence against children – an issue close to their hearts.

For the occasion, Meghan wore a £1,645 Ralph Lauren blazer, a piece first seen during her pregnancy with Archie in 2019, subtly nodding to her five-year-old son.

She paired the blazer with a simple black T-shirt and completed the look with soft waves in her hair and a natural makeup style.

Prince Harry, wearing a black blazer with a traditional poppy pinned to his lapel, joined his wife in delivering a powerful message of advocacy.

The couple called for urgent action to protect “the most vulnerable in our world” from the growing threat of digital violence.

During their two-minute speech, Harry and Meghan discussed the importance of reassessing and redefining the way we protect children from online harm.

Harry started the conversation by emphasizing that we are at a crossroads where the need for immediate change has never been more urgent: “While the need has always been clear, now is the time to translate that awareness into meaningful action.”

Meghan spoke about the role of technology, recognizing its benefits, but emphasizing the need to better understand and address how digital violence against children is evolving in 2024.

The video message, filmed in California, where the Sussexes now live with their children, Archie and Lilibet, ended with a sweet moment as Harry lovingly wrapped his arm around Meghan, showing their united front on this important issue.
