Fugitive wanted for child sex abuse in New Hampshire, arrested in Bradenton

Bradenton Police arrested a man they say sexually abused children in New Hampshire and went on the run.

Police in Campton, New Hampshire have been investigating 70-year-old David Duncan since June. They notified Bradenton police of the ongoing investigation after determining Duncan was present Florida and the use of a post office box in Bradenton.

Bradenton police say they found Duncan alive in a vehicle in September and notified New Hampshire police of their discovery.

Detectives said they approached Duncan and established a friendly relationship to keep an eye on him.

On November 1, Bradenton police arrested Duncan and held him in the Manatee County Jail, where he awaits extradition to New Hampshire.

Duncan is charged with six counts of aggravated sexual assault of a minor, two counts of aggravated sexual assault of a minor and one count of aggravated sexual assault of a minor.

Authorities said there is no information indicating Duncan was involved in criminal activity in Bradenton.
