Suspect wanted in connection with assault, 80 weapons found in house

LEONARDTOWN, Md. – A man police consider armed and dangerous is on in St. Mary’s County.

Police responded to a reported domestic disturbance in the 20000 block of Goddard Road in Lexington Park.

The suspect, Jerod Adam Taylor, fled before police arrived.

Police soon discovered that Taylor possessed multiple firearms as they were clearly visible when they arrived at the home. He is legally prohibited from possessing firearms due to prior convictions.

After executing a search warrant, police found multiple 3D printed “ghost guns,” semi-automatic rifles, pistols, shotguns, a semi-automatic AK-47 rifle and an assortment of firearm parts.

More than 1,300 rounds of ammunition, body armor and other weapons-making tools were also found.

A total of 80 firearms were found in the home.

Taylor has not yet been located and is considered armed and dangerous.

The police say that if you see him, do not approach him, but call 911 immediately.
