One dead after crash in Kentucky

LOUISA, Ky. (WSAZ) – One person is dead after a fatal crash in Louisa Thursday evening.

Louisa police identified the victim as Patricia Frazier, 32, of Louisa.

The crash was reported Thursday around 7:15 p.m. on Ky 644 at the intersection of Meadowbrook Lane.

Officers said Frazier drove onto Ky 644 from Meadowbrook Lane, accidentally struck oncoming traffic in the wrong lane and collided with another car.

Investigators said Frazier and the other driver were taken to the hospital for their injuries. Frazier died in hospital from her injuries.

The collision is still under investigation.
