Edmonton massage therapist Satish Poojari accused of sexual assault

The Edmonton Police Service (EPS) has arrested and charged a 49-year-old man with four counts of sexual assault.

Police first began investigating Satish Poojari at a massage clinic in south Edmonton in August.

During the investigation, three more complaints were filed involving Poojari.

The Certified Registered Massage Therapist Association has revoked Poojari’s license. Police believe he may still be practicing massage therapy in the city and are encouraging all his clients to come forward.

“If you have been a victim of Satish Poojari, we hope you will come forward and file a police report,” said Assistant Detective. Candace Werestiuk of the EPS sexual violence section.

Poojari’s next court appearance is scheduled for December 12.
