Six injured when two cars collided at Chanthavila in Thiruvananthapuram

Six people were injured after two cars collided head-on in Chanthavila, Thiruvananthapuram on Saturday morning. The condition of one woman, who was injured in the accident, is critical, according to police. The injured include Akhil, 26; Sini, 30; and Jannamma, 55. The identities of three others are being verified.

The accident happened around 6.30 am on the Venjaramoodu-Kazhakootam bypass road, before KINFRA, near a bend. All injured people have been taken to hospital. Local residents said one of the drivers may have fallen asleep, leading to the collision. One car was heading to Adoor from Thiruvananthapuram airport.
