Huma Qureshi praises Brother Saqib Saleem for ‘fire’ performance at Citadel: Honey Bunny; Rajkummar Rao agrees

Huma Qureshi turned cheerleader for her brother Saqib Salim and applauded him for his spectacular performance in the Varun Dhawan-Samantha Ruth Prabhu starrer series Citadel: Honey Bunny!

Starring Varun Dhawan and Samantha Ruth Prabhu, the spy action series ‘Citadel: Honey Bunny’ released on Prime Video on 6^e November. The series, which also stars Kay Kay Menon, Sikandar Kher, Saqib Saleem and others, has received a great response. Saqib plays the antagonist KD in the series and his sister Huma Qureshi has now applauded his spectacular performance. Rajkummar Rao, Farah Khan and others have also praised him!

On Saturday, Huma Qureshi shared on her Instagram account a photo of Saqib Saleem’s look test from Citadel: Honey Bunny in Serbia. The photo shows Saqib looking intense, with a buzz. Huma wrote that her brother makes her proud every day and that she has immense love for him. She praised his performance in the series and wrote that he is on fire in the final episode! She also shared a still from Citadel: Honey Bunny, featuring Saqib and a child holding a ball.

Rajkummar Rao agreed with Huma Qureshi and praised Saqib Saleem. “Saqu Rocks,” he wrote, along with heart-eyed and red heart emojis. Meanwhile, Farah Khan commented: ‘@saqibsaleem best.’

Saqib shared Huma’s post on his Instagram story and replied, “Huma ji Shukriya, aapke kind words ke liye…aap humein khoob inspire karti hai…hum aapse atyant mohabbat karte hai… (Thank you for your kind words, Huma. You inspire me a lot. I love you a lot) And that boy is doing well.

Meanwhile, Citadel: Honey Bunny sparked some controversy after netizens noticed Saqib Saleem was missing from the promotional events. Breaking his silence, Saqib recently shared a note that read, “Although I don’t have any behind-the-scenes photos, if you’ve looked closely at the promotional materials, you may see a familiar face. I poured my heart into this project, and now it’s up to you to experience it. I’d love to hear what you think… let’s bring this empty space to life with your thoughts!
