79-year-old pedestrian seriously injured after being struck by a vehicle in Kalihi

HONOLULU (HawaiiNewsNow) – A 79-year-old woman was seriously injured after being struck by a vehicle in Kalihi, according to emergency medical services.

It happened around 4:10 p.m. near Eluwene and Kalihi streets.

Paramedics treated her for extensive injuries, including head injuries, EMS said.

Police closed a portion of Kalihi Street, between Dillingham Boulevard and Eluwene Street, for the investigation.
