A cooler, but humid weekend ahead

ATLANTA, Ga. (Atlanta News First) – We start the weekend with another gloomy morning.

There is a chance of patchy, dense fog until about 9am, but unlike yesterday we will not see any sunshine breaking through in the afternoon.

Expect mostly cloudy to cloudy weather during the day, with some light showers possible in the afternoon.

It can feel foggy and drizzly all day, with a breeze in the afternoon. Between the clouds, wind and drizzle, highs will only reach the mid 60s today.

Tomorrow there will be a real bit of cool air coming in. This makes for a humid, cloudy and cool day. Much of Sunday will be in the 50s, with highs only in the low 60s.

Tomorrow also brings a higher chance of rain. Although the rain will be light, it will be a gloomy day overall. A perfect excuse for a lazy Sunday!

A cold front will move in overnight into the early morning on Monday, Veterans Day. This brings the chance of rain and perhaps an isolated rumble of thunder.

Temperatures behind this front will not cool, but with more sunshine by Tuesday, highs will return to the 70s.

Another front is coming quickly behind us, giving us a small chance of rain on Thursday. This front will bring our mornings back to the 50s, with highs in the 60s.
