In a shocking move, Prince Andrew demands the Royal Lodge back from King Charles

Prince Andrew has seemingly put a new strain on King Charles over Royal Lodge, just days after the monarch cut his annual allowance.

In a surprising turn of events, Andrew reportedly has sufficient finances to continue his stay at the Royal Lodge, which he was told to leave earlier this year.

As reported by The timesthe keeper of the privy purse, Sir Michael Stevens has confirmed that the Duke of York will use the money from legitimate sources to continue his stay at the royal estate.

A well-placed source told the newspaper: “If Andrew can pay his own living expenses through legitimate means then that’s not a problem.”

They continued: “But the king’s patience has run out when it comes to financing his brother’s lifestyle in a way that does not suit his status.”

Andrew received an official message from his brother, King Charles, earlier this year ordering the Duke of York to vacate the lodge and move to Frogmore Cottage, the former home of Prince Harry and Meghan Markle.

In this shocking move, the Duke of York has reportedly convinced Palace officials that he now has sufficient funds from legitimate sources to support himself.

Prince Andrew stepped down from his royal duties in 2019 after his bomb attack News night interview, in which he sheds light on his friendship with infamous sex offender Jeffery Epstein.

Since then, the Duke has stopped receiving public funds, raising questions about his wealth as his only apparent income comes from his Royal Navy pension.
