Presque Isle woman hospitalized after accident in Bridgewater

BRIDGEWATER, Maine (WABI) – A Presque Isle woman was seriously injured after a crash in Bridgewater.

It happened Thursday afternoon on Bootfoot Road.

The Aroostook County Sheriff’s Office says the driver, Andrea Fitzherbert, lost control of her car, causing it to leave the road and strike a telephone pole.

We’re told Fitzherbert was thrown from her vehicle after it rolled over several times.

Officials say she was taken to a hospital with life-threatening injuries.

The crash is still under investigation.
