A Stoke-on-Trent man has been charged with burglaries and thefts worth £40,000

A man from Stoke-on-Trent has been charged with a total of 12 offenses in connection with the theft of goods worth around £40,000.

Items stolen during burglaries and thefts in Stoke-on-Trent and Newcastle under Lyme between July 2023 and October 2024 included power tools, gardening and fishing equipment and an all-terrain bicycle.

A 32-year-old from Sandyford has been charged with offenses including burglary, aggravated theft of a vehicle, theft from a motor vehicle and criminal damage to property.

He appeared before North Staffordshire Justice Center on Friday and was remanded in custody ahead of his next court appearance, Staffordshire Police said.
