Drew Barrymore’s Daughter Watched ’50 First Dates’

50 first dates originally premiered in 2004 and immediately became popular for its feel-good story (and the on-screen chemistry between Barrymore and Sandler). In an earlier episode of The Drew Barrymore Show, she admitted that they filmed an alternate ending that has never been seen.

“The original ending was her saying, ‘You have to start living your life because this is not a life here,’” Barrymore explained. “And he leaves, as he does, and he comes back and walks into the restaurant, and he just sits down and says, ‘Hi, I’m Henry.’ And the movie ends.”

I’ve never felt so compelled to look 50 first dates.
