It is then that he hears about the growing threat of Jackie Ming through his partner, Margaret Devereaux. Cal Thresher informs the owner of the Fennario Ranch that she may lose her property, as his shares in the ranch are now owned by the triad member. Since Mark doesn’t deserve to almost die because of him, Dwight can’t forgive Ming. Although his enmity towards Bevilaqua burns within him, he shifts his focus to the triad member. Jackie Ming’s death confirms Rich Ting’s departure from Tulsa King

While neither Paramount+ nor Rich Ting have officially announced the actor’s departure from ‘Tulsa King,’ it’s just a matter of formality at this point. Without a doubt, Jackie Ming is dead for good. Since the ninth episode of season 2 ends with the Chinese Triad member being buried by Bigfoot in the Fennario Ranch stable, perhaps we shouldn’t expect to see him again in the crime drama series. Considering that Ming is not a character personally attached to Dwight, the chances of him appearing in the General’s visions or dreams are slim to none.

Jackie’s actions that somehow affect Dwight have resurfaced. There are no secrets that the former mafia capo has yet to learn, which suggests that Ting’s character will most likely not appear in flashback scenes. The death of the triad member completely eliminates the character’s scope, concluding his storyline. Therefore, it is time for us to say goodbye to the cruel villain who terrorizes even cruel ghosts like Thresher and Bevilaqua. Terence Winter and his writers make effective use of Ming’s death, especially by relying on it to enhance Tyson’s storyline. The second part gradually shows how Dwight’s right-hand man immerses himself in the world of crime, with no way back.

Tyson killing Ming confirms that the former has become part of this world without the possibility of his return. In the second season finale, we can expect this murder to somehow affect the young man’s psyche. Meanwhile, we expect Ting to deliver an equally impressive performance in the upcoming Prime Video series of police procedurals ‘On Call’, starring Troian Bellisario and Brandon Larracuente.
