Many Ghanaians were shocked when news broke of the death of gospel musician Jacob Ajola.

While many are still wondering about the circumstances of the singer’s death, a recorded message from the late singer to his younger brother has surfaced.

In the message, which was shared on Accra-based Neat FM, a deeply emotional Ajola shared some advice, love and a plea for understanding with his brother, identified as Eben.

In the message, Ajola urged his brother to take prayer seriously and focus on building a stable future.

He advised his brother to find his purpose, work hard and establish himself financially before considering marriage.

Ajola shared his own regrets and encouraged Eben to seize opportunities, even if it meant traveling abroad.

“Don’t play with prayer. I want you to take your finances seriously. What you need now at your age is to find your purpose, work on it and be established. When you are established, you will get the woman married. There There are things I can’t tell you about. Focus on yourself. Learn, pray, earn for yourself. I wish someone had given me this advice a while ago, push it, do it,” Ajola advised.

He urged his brother to rebuild his life before considering a relationship or marriage, stating that the breakdown of many relationships is mainly due to finances.

“Go out and make it. When it’s time to get married, make sure you marry someone. I’m not saying anyone is bad. But what I’m saying is the reason they leave you is because you have no money .So why don’t you earn the money yourself?”

At one point, Jacob was heard telling his brother that he needed to contact a fellow teacher to pick up his belongings and that he might no longer be available. But he assured Eben of his prayers and support.

“But I pray with you. Wherever I am. I’m going to pray with you. Because you won’t see me again. But I pray with you. I pray with you, Eben,” he said. said.

In his last words, Ajola expressed his love for Eben and asked for forgiveness.

He also advised Eben to make a change of scenery to help him and to change their surname, which he felt had negative connotations.

Jacob Adjola passed away in October 2024, leaving fans and Christians in shock. According to multiple Facebook posts, Adjola died by suicide in the early hours of Monday, October 14, after leaving a note at his church. The details of the note were not disclosed.
