CHICAGO (WLS) — At least 12 people have been shot, two of them fatally, in gun violence in Chicago so far this weekend, police said.

Here’s how the news is developing.

It involved a 68-year-old man shot dead early on Saturday in the city’s Gresham neighborhood, Chicago police said. It happened at about 3:25 am in the 8400 blk. from the Zuid-Maystraat.

A witness told police she was in her home when she heard gunshots coming. She said she went outside and found the man unconscious on the ground with multiple gunshot wounds to his body.
