59-year-old Lathrop man killed in Sunday wreck

KANSAS CITY, Missouri – A 59-year-old man from Lathrop, Missouri, was killed in a car wreck in Clinton County, Missouri, on Sunday afternoon.

The Missouri State Highway Patrol says around 12:30 a.m. Sunday the man was driving east on 240e Street southeast of Lathrop when he lost control of his 2005 Chevrolet Cavalier.

The car left the roadway, hit a guardrail, overturned and hit a tree.

The victim was pronounced dead at the scene.
