Prabhas and Sandeep Reddy Vanga’s Spirit to go on floors in December? Here’s what we know

Director Sandeep Reddy Vanga, known for superhit films like Animal and Kabir Singh, is all set to return with a new project. He is currently working on his next film, Spirit, with Prabhas. As per the latest update, the film will start shooting in December. The team is expected to make an official announcement about the film soon.

While promoting Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3, T-Series head Bhushan Kumar revealed an update on Spirit. He is also part of the film production along with Sandeep Vanga. The producer indicated that it plans to start production of Spirit at the end of December this year. Prabhas will play a police officer.

Reports indicate that the film’s soundtrack and music work has also started successfully. Sandeep Reddyknown for his impeccable taste in music, has shown this quality in his previous films. In addition to soundtracks, he is also adept at obtaining exceptional background music.

Continuing his successful collaboration, Sandeep is once again teaming up with composer Harshavardhan Rameshwar for his next project, Spirit. This film marks Sandeep’s return to Telugu cinema after this Arjun Reddy. Recently, Harshavardhan reported that the music sessions have already started.

In Spirit, Prabhas will play a police officer, adding another dynamic role to his filmography. Talking about the film in April, Sandeep said the project would have a budget of Rs 300 crore. He noted that the size is justified considering Prabhas’ market, which ensures financial security through satellite and digital rights. He added, “If the teaser, trailer and songs create the right buzz, we are looking at an opening day of Rs 150 crore,” underscoring the ambitious scope of the project.

Once completed, director Sandeep Vanga will take a six-month break before starting work on Animal Park. The film will be a sequel to the 2023 film Animal. Ranbir Kapoor will reprise his role as the film’s main character.
