Long Island Expressway eastbound lanes closed in Melville – NBC New York

According to the Suffolk County Police Department, all eastbound lanes of the Long Island Expressway will remain closed Monday as police investigate an earlier crash.

LIE lane closures are in effect at Melville on Broadhollow Road.

The accident happened at 5:03 a.m., police said. The lanes were closed throughout the morning rush hour.
